"The day that I met Jan for the first time was the day that she came into my office to talk about her new business venture. Jan was quiet and reserved about her business, and not too enthusiastic about the whole process of networking and talking to people about her it, but she was willing to try.

Last week a person “resembling” Jan stepped into the office. The hair style was the same, the make-up the same, and the clothes, too.

But as soon as I greeted her and asked, “What’s new Jan? How are you doing?” The person standing there exploded into this other person. She brightened, a huge smile stretched across and filled her face, her eyes lit-up, enthusiasm and energy seemed to pour from her as she answered. Effervescently she told me all about a marketing person that she met at a mixer and hired, and that this marketing person was helping her get on track, make a plan, set goals, focus, etc.
